We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Regional Manager to lead our Western Australian operations team and drive sales and profitability for our most valuable asset, our franchisees!
Reporting directly to the Chief Retail Operations Officer, this is a pivotal role in driving the success of our franchisees and ensuring the highest standards of operation. This is a role for someone that wants to lead a dynamic team; who understands the importance of strategic business planning, and how to make a tangible impact on the growth and profitability of our business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspiring and aligning the regional team around high‑impact, sales‑driving priorities that fuel sustainable growth.
- Championing the execution of local, regional, and group marketing initiatives, ensuring they land with excellence and elevate brand presence across the region.
- Designing and delivering bold, future‑focused business plans that unlock performance and set a clear path for regional success.
- Empowering Area Managers to lift bakery performance, using insights, coaching, and collaboration to drive continuous improvement.
- Partnering with support teams to identify, approve, and launch new sites, ensuring every opening reflects operational excellence, meets deadlines, and adheres to budget.
- Accelerating franchisor and franchisee profitability by collaborating across regional, commercial, and internal teams to strengthen sales and optimise cost management.
- Holding Area Managers accountable for elevating retail execution and brand standards, ensuring every bakery reflects the quality and consistency our customers expect.
- Spotting and nurturing high‑potential internal franchisees, providing pathways for them to grow, lead, and succeed as business owners.
- Leading, developing, and motivating the regional team to deliver best‑in‑industry support that empowers franchisees to thrive.
- Role‑modelling a diverse, inclusive, trusted, and gender‑equal culture, one that rejects unacceptable behaviours, champions respect, and prioritises a safety‑first mindset in everything we do.

We’re looking for someone who is a strong leader and great communicator, who is comfortable managing multiple tasks at once, and has a passion for retail and sales growth.
Proven experience in a similar role will be highly regarded, the ideal candidate will be able to build rapport with franchisees, while holding them and their team to Bakers Delight’s expected standards. They will also have:
- Previous experience in an FMCG and/or retail environment.
- Experience in managing diverse teams and/or a sales force.
- Sales or marketing experience.
- Relevant degree or other tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.
- Proven experience that shows an ability to think and plan strategically.
- Previous experience managing budget and other financial responsibilities.
- Outstanding business acumen.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate and present effectively and confidently.
- Knowledge of human resources, industrial relations, EEO, WHS policies and procedures.
- A commitment to total Customer satisfaction to both internal and external Customers.
