Job Description

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Franchise Consultant, this role plays a critical part in supporting franchisees on the ground.

You’ll spend most of your time in bakeries, working side-by-side with franchisees and their teams to:

  • lift operational standards
  • improve presentation, merchandising and execution
  • coach capability
  • Identify areas to improve sales, efficiency and profitability

This is not a desk-based or purely advisory role. It’s about rolling up your sleeves, building trust, and working with people to make things happen.

This is a full-time, permanent position with regular travel across Southern NSW/Riverina/ACT

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Spending time in bakeries providing hands-on operational support and coaching Franchisees and Team Members
  • Helping franchisees and teams improve standards, customer experience, execution and instore activations
  • Supporting merchandising, product quality and store presentation
  • Coaching leaders and team members on performance, planning and follow-through
  • Supporting production, waste, labour and efficiency improvements
  • Reinforcing group standards, audits and compliance in a practical and supportive way
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with franchisees and their teams
  • Following up actions to ensure improvements stick
  • Conducting in bakery visitation platform

This role suits someone who is early in their operations or leadership career and ready for their next step into a multi-site, field-based role.

You’re likely to have experience as a:

  • Snr Store Manager, High volume Assistant Manager or Department Manager
  • Production Manager or Senior Team Leader
  • Multi-site or single-site leader looking to expand your impact

You don’t need to know everything — but you must have strong foundations and a genuine desire to learn, grow and be developed.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, food or franchise environments
  • A hands-on mindset — you’re comfortable getting involved, not just directing
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Confidence coaching, training and influencing different personalities
  • Solid understanding of store standards, presentation and “what good looks like”
  • Exposure to basic commercial drivers (labour, waste, sales, productivity)
  • Ability to manage your time, plan your week and work independently on the road
  • A growth mindset — curious, coachable and eager to develop your career

Multi-site experience is helpful but not essential — it can be taught.
