Our Supply Chain Team is looking for an outgoing QA & Food Safety Compliance Manager who’s ready to make a real impact.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the development and execution of our Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs, working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of legislation, drive continuous improvement, and support our strategic business goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage QA and Food Safety Programs across Australia.
- Conduct supplier audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Respond to critical complaints from customers and franchisees.
- Develop and maintain QA risk matrices and testing protocols.
- Manage the Assured Supplier Program and support supplier development.
- Provide technical support to bakeries, operations, and customer relations.
- Coordinate product testing, recalls, and food safety training.
- Collaborate with leadership to align QA initiatives with company objectives.
About You:
We’re looking for a confident and articulate communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and brings a genuine passion for quality and continuous improvement.
You’ll also have:
- Proven experience in the food industry, with emphasis on food safety, compliance, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with HACCP and ISO-based quality systems.
- Internal and external auditing experience.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or food industry management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- A commitment to improvement and change management, driven by customer satisfaction.
- Experience with YUM or BRC audits (highly regarded but not essential).
